“ Okay so I got take-out from here the other night. I got a small pizza, no cheese. The crust was good - it was thin crust, and the sauce had a nice flavor. I do wish they had put a little more sauce but it was fine. Service was quick especially for a Friday night. It took about 15 minutes for my pizza and a steak and cheese sub my brother got. Overall it's a nice spot if you want a pizza, but it's nothing to go out of the way for. Also - I really wish they could get their menu up online. ”

“ My husband grew up in Rehoboth and remembers having this pizza when he was a kid. They make an EXCELLENT pepperoni pizza with small pepperoni slices crisped up like it was broiled. We go on special trips out to Seekonk to get their pizza. They don't deliver, but this just goes to show how amazing their pizza is that they are in business for generations with just the walk-in available. They do a special deal with The Village Green Preschool (where my son will be going in September), so this will be a 3rd generation being raised on Popular Pizza. ”

“ Popular Pizza is in a lil' hidden plaza (Briarwood) in Seekonk, a couple of miles away from the hubbub of Rt. 6 in Seekonk. There's nothing fancy or hip about this place at all...they don't deliver, they don't accept credit cards, they only have a handful of beers on tap, but they do offer friendly service and it seems like there are a lot of locals who frequent the bar in order to enjoy some beers, eat some wings, and talk to the owners. But how is their food? Their pizza is great. It won't win any awards for being something special but they aren't afraid to use mozzarella (the cheese stretches which is a rarity these days as most places use a variety of cheese types to keep their costs down), they put a good amount of toppings on, and the crust around the outside is thin which is great as it allows them to pile on even more toppings. We've also had the antipasto salad and it's your basic blend of iceberg lettuce, some veggies, and cut-up rolls of ham and cheese. If you're in the area and want to eat a good pizza, this is your place. I wouldn't go out of your way for it as RI/MA has just so many great pizza joints, but this is a regular go-to place for me if I want to grab a pizza and go home to watch some TV. ”
